When will the game be available to play? I tried to log on yesterday sept. 22 and could not make it past putting in my user name, a page just keeps poping up saying the service is unavailable due to maintenance.

crash on start up

I crash immediately after double-clicking the FF14 icon on my desktop. I have downloaded all up-to-date drivers for video card and my system exceeds all recommended requirements to play the game. Will there be anything that will address these crashes in the maintainence? I hope I can play the game…

Check out the most recent interview here. Somewhere in the masses of questions and answers, the director acknowledges the issue and says they are working on the problem. I’m sure they’ll fix it soon
